Purpose of the service

Tilawa lets you identify a Quranic recitation from a short audio excerpt, read and listen to the Quranic text and its translations, access a collection of invocations, follow a reading plan, and have audio or video content in Arabic translated.

Nature of the results

Identification and translation rely on automated processing and are provided for guidance only. They may contain inaccuracies and replace neither the Mushaf nor the judgement of a qualified person. Users are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.

Free features

Reading, listening, recitation identification, invocations and the reading plan are available at no charge.

Translation credits

Translating audio or video content consumes credits, purchased as single-use packs. Each completed translation consumes one credit. A credit charged for a translation that fails is automatically refunded.

Subscription

The “Tilawa Support” subscription is offered at the price shown in the application and includes a monthly allowance of translations together with associated benefits. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours beforehand. Management and cancellation take place in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payment is charged by the distribution platform.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content supplied immediately whose performance has begun with your express consent. Refund requests are governed by the terms of the distribution platform (App Store or Google Play).

Intellectual property

The Quranic text and the recitations come from third-party sources identified in the application and remain the property of their respective rights holders. Users undertake to make lawful and respectful use of them. The Tilawa name, visual identity and proprietary developments remain the property of the publisher.

Availability

The service is provided as is, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The publisher may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the features, in particular for maintenance or security reasons.

Liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for any inaccuracy in identification or translation, nor for decisions taken on that basis. Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions remain applicable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or the European online dispute resolution platform.
